Is there a difference between Offline and Online Marketing?
Offline Marketing uses other methods of marketing apart from internet marketing. This kind of marketing is done to make a business popular with fans and consumers like using :
Traditional Media, Newspapers, Magazines, Flyers and Brochures, Television and Radio Ads.
Sending Seasonal Cards, Community Engagement, Put Out Press Releases, Donate Gift Certificates or Speak at Events, Snail Mail, Make Cold Calls, Trade Shows, or Sponsor a Community Event.
Marketing Online is Strategic
Some online marketing techniques, like blogging, email and social networking are done with a purpose or goal in mind. To reach these goals, use of strategies such as:
Types of Online Marketing
Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Pay-per-click Advertising (PPC) Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing (SMM), Affiliate Marketing , and Email Marketing.
All these strategies are considered Online Marketing. I use a variety of these combinations of marketing techniques for both of these marketing ideals, offline or online.
